What is Manyatta Cares?

Manyatta Cares is our annual fundraising gala dedicated to the celebration of philanthropy within the African Diaspora. We bring together the Manyatta Community to give back to organizations that are making a great impact in the cities where we live.

Which Community Organization are you fundraising for and why?

Manyatta will be fundraising for  ShelterThem this year.  ShelterThem  is a non-profit organization founded in 2005 by twin sisters, Josephine Murphy and Jocelyne Alexandre. When is the event taking Place?

October 27, 2018 at Pantages Hotel from 5 pm to 2 am. The gala will be followed by an after-party; so ladies make sure to come with extra shoes ☺

What time does the event start?

The start time is 5 P.M sharp- no African time

August 5- September 30, 2018- Early Bird: Gala + After Party $80

October 1- October 27, 2018: Gala + After Party $90

Donations are welcome and you can receive a tax receipt for any donation of $20 or more upon request.

I do not live in Toronto, what type of accommodations do you have available?

We have reserved a few rooms with  Pantages Hotel so our guests can start booking guestrooms under our group rate by calling the hotel and referring to either the group name Manyatta Network or group code 668327 by August 31, 2018

Rate: Deluxe Studio Queen Rate $219 + tax

Reservation Procedures

Reservations: Individuals shall call the Hotel directly at 416-362-1777x1 or 1-855-852-1777 to advise name, arrival and departure date, and advise reservation agent of group rate Manyatta Gala. any individual related inquires after time of signing should be directed to reservations@silverhotelgroup.com or gjacques@pantageshoteltoronto.com for special assistance.

Cancellation: All individual must be guaranteed by Credit Card in the amount of one-night room and tax. Reservations may be cancelled only by calling the hotel directly and obtaining a cancellation number from a reservation agent. Any reservation which fails to materialize and has not been cancelled a minimum of 48 hours prior to arrival will be charged one night’s room and tax to the credit card provided or any deposits submitted will be forfeited.

Will there be parking on site?

Please note, the Pantages Hotel Toronto does not have parking on site.

Special arrangements have been made for Hotel guests with Target Park, located just one minute up the street across from Ed Mirvish Theatre at 237 Victoria Street.

SPECIAL OVERNIGHT PACKAGE OFFER FOR PANTAGES GUESTS:

Special overnight rate of $35 (from check in until 12pm following day)

Guests can prepay multiple days in advance if they wish

Guests have in and out privileges (and will self-park and keep their keys)

Lot attendants are on-site to assist guests daily from 7am-10pm (normal operating hours, later for event nights)

Parking kiosks can be used if attendant is not present for payment

Rates Mon – Fri from Midnight – 6am: $15 NOTE: Rates subject to change without notice.
